Services

I provide small, well-scoped freelance assignments such as websites, prototypes, dashboards, AI assistant demos and compact web applications. Services are described in proposals or service packages on https://jobvanrest.nl. Large programmes or open-ended retainers are outside scope unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Quotes, scope and payment

Prices on the website are indicative. After intake, a fixed-price quote defines deliverables, timeline and exclusions. Payment terms are stated in the quote (typically partial upfront for new clients). Invoices are sent from Job van Rest; VAT applies where legally required.

Client responsibilities

The client provides timely feedback, access to required materials and a single point of contact. The client confirms it has rights to share any data or content supplied and that use complies with applicable law.

Intellectual property

Upon full payment, agreed deliverables transfer to the client as specified in the quote. Pre-existing tools, libraries and generic components remain mine. Portfolio use (non-confidential work) may be referenced unless the client objects in writing.

Confidentiality & KNCV separation

I treat client information confidentially. Freelance work is independent from my role at KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation: no KNCV data, code or assets are used, and no competing assignments are accepted.

Liability & law

Liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the relevant assignment, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. AI deliverables are decision-support tools with human oversight unless otherwise agreed. Dutch law applies; disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
