TBC-Online is a national tuberculosis surveillance dashboard for the Netherlands, visualising TB notifications and latent infections from the Netherlands Tuberculosis Register.
Challenge
- National TB stakeholders needed clear, interactive insight into trends without relying on static reports alone.
- The platform had to present complex register data in a way that remained usable for public health professionals.
Approach
- Built interactive charts and filters on top of Netherlands Tuberculosis Register data with a maintainable web stack.
- Structured the application around surveillance questions that municipal and national TB teams use in daily practice.
Outcomes
- Delivered a long-running national reference platform for TB trends and surveillance reporting in the Netherlands.
