Digitriage is a Telegram-based AI tool that helps healthcare workers interpret CD4 test result images for HIV/AIDS patient care in Ethiopia.
Challenge
- CD4 test interpretation needed to be faster and more consistent in settings with limited laboratory support.
- The solution had to work on mobile messaging infrastructure already used by frontline health workers.
Approach
- Combined Audere AI Vision and OpenAI image analysis with a simple Telegram interaction flow for photo upload and interpretation.
- Focused the UX on clear prompts, result explanation and practical use during patient assessment.
Outcomes
- Demonstrated how AI vision can support point-of-care interpretation workflows through familiar messaging tools.
